Seema Kahai, the eponymous designer behind the brand, is a global citizen, who is entrenched in design. and is true to her roots. Born and raised in India, she has spent her adult life in New York. Seema is also a seasoned interior designer in the U.S.A., and her love for textiles and draping is evident in her collection, with intricate designs, embroidery and great attention to finishing detail.
Seema Kahai’s unique textiles caught the attention of Donna Karan, who has been a very enthusiastic supporter. The brand had a very successful launch at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen in 2019.
