Established in 2021, Cristiano Marcheli carries its name from Cristiano, the father of the designer and founder, Maria Chelioti. The name "Marcheli" is derived from the initials of her first and last name.

During her university years, Maria used this name to sign each of her designs, creating a name that would encapsulate her love for her father Cristiano and her passion for design.
